You need to decide on a name for your investment programme. This does not need to be a complicated or time consuming process, but coming up with a name by which you will refer to it in communications is important.

This name will be reflected on the Abundance website, for instance on your landing pages and investment listing pages - https://www.abundanceinvestment.com/invest/h-f-green-investment-4 and https://www.abundanceinvestment.com/council/hammersmith-and-fulham for instance.

Generally speaking, most councils favour a simple name, such as:

You are welcome to call the investment whatever you wish, but there are some things that are not allowed to be included in the name for FCA reasons. There are quite a few restrictions, but the most common request we have to turn down is this:

Your chosen name should also not be too long, as it used in a number of locations around the website and very long names - particularly in combination with very long council names - can cause usability issues for some users.

A decision on this is important early on in the preparation process for your first offer.

Note: when you issue multiple investments over time, the name will stay the same but a number is added after it to indicate which number raise it relates to - e.g. Greenwich Green Investment 1 (or 2/3/4 etc). This is important as it enables investors to distinguish between different offers they invest in over time
